The GRUAU Group, a utility vehicle mobility expert for 135 years, announces the appointment of Patrick Buchard as the Group’s General Manager. His mission will be to pursue the implementation of Project 2030 and its objectives regarding RSS2E.
As of February 1, 2025, Patrick Buchard holds the position of General Manager of the GRUAU Group. Patrick Gruau, President of the eponymous Group, thus favored the internal strengths of the family business: “I decided to rely on an ‘in-house’ person, and it was only natural that my choice fell on Patrick Buchard. He possesses all the qualities to successfully lead this new challenge and deploy our 2030 corporate project.”
After starting his career at Renault VU, he joined the Gruau Group in 2000 as Sales and Marketing Director. Embodying the values of the Manufacturer-Bodybuilder to his teams, he successfully fostered a positive dynamic among his employees while developing the business.
For Patrick Gruau, “Patrick Buchard has been a Utility Vehicle expert for 30 years. He also has an in-depth knowledge of the entire Gruau Group’s operations. He has actively participated in its development and achieved excellent results, similar to those of 2024 within the Urban Mobility Division.”
In his new responsibilities, Patrick Buchard will also lead the COMEX alongside Christophe Lucq (General Manager of Finance and Legal) and Philippe Navarre (new General Manager of the Sanitary Vehicles Division, who joined the group in early January), under the governance of President Patrick Gruau.
This strengthened team is already operational to continue the deployment of Project 2030, focused on strong RSS2E (Social, Societal, Economic, and Environmental Responsibility) commitments and the promise of being a UTILY-TERRE BY NATURE© group, useful to its customers and working for the common good.
