A history of commitment

RSS2E, the pillar of our actions

At the heart of our 2030 Project

Our RSS2E policy has evolved significantly over the last 30 years. Its best expression is reflected today in the Gruau Group Manifesto.

As the common thread of our 2030 Project, it highlights the strong roots of our group and its purpose within society and its evolutions, as well as with all its stakeholders, whether they be Clients, Employees, or Partners. The group is at one with the World.

“UTILY-TERRE BY NATURE” represents our unwavering conviction that we can, and must, together with all our teams, have a positive impact on our ecosystem.

A strategic axis

RSS2E constitutes one of the 6 strategic priorities set out in our corporate project. By 2030, the group is focusing on 3 main types of actions in particular:

Contributing to environmental protection in our transformations and across our sites.

Maintaining a high-performance social policy: strengthening training, compensation policy, and attractiveness, while making progress in safety.

Encouraging the commitment of the company and its employees to community life.

Development at Gruau is naturally sustainable. When you are 137 years old, you have accumulated experience and a memory that forge a strong vision for the future. And this vision is social: 1,400 employees, all active participants in the project. It is societal: bringing value to local territories. It is inherently economic and has become a real challenge: to be a French industry leader in the automotive world. It is environmental: contributing to making professional mobility clean and protecting our beautiful planet for future generations.

1500 Dedicated Individuals

UTILY-TERRE© by nature means…

Continuously advancing Social progress

At Gruau, we are convinced that the value generated by the group comes from the addition, and even the multiplication of all the goodwill acting within our companies, as professionals, of course, but also as individuals in their own right. Our common anchor is our culture, based on our history of more than a century and our four values.

We are attentive and committed, particularly to:

  • health, safety, and well-being at work,
  • knowledge and skills development,
  • conviviality and a family culture.

Health, safety, and well-being

Taking care of each individual means taking care of the collective and the group. We ensure that our employees work in safe conditions and respect the physical and mental integrity of everyone: personalized PPE, custom-designed workwear for all, regular safety awareness and refresher courses… A network of QWL (Quality of Working Life) correspondents is deployed at each of the group’s sites. Every new employee follows an induction program that includes these health, safety, and well-being at work topics.
