Your responsibilities

Sustain and grow the market share of the customised and specific products under your responsibility within the defined geographical area by offering high-performing, competitive, approved commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements, in order to achieve volume, margin and market-share objectives. Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives within and between sites. Establish and monitor the Commercial Action Plan for your activity.   More specifically, your responsibilities include:  
  • Field sales
 
  • Analyse the customer’s needs based on the specifications and/or your professional experience, or draft the specifications based on the customer’s needs
 
  • Advise and propose technical solutions
 
  • Prepare the quotation for the offer, with or without the support of the Design Office teams
 
  • Draft the customer proposal (technically and financially approved)
 
  • Respond to a customer tender (technical file and administrative file)
 
  • Negotiate and reach the best customer proposal (solution, price, lead time) to secure the order
 
  • Ensure follow-up on the project and keep the customer informed
 
  • Carry out vehicle acceptance and deliver the vehicle, including handover to the customer
 
  • Develop commercial activity within your geographical sector
 
  • Prospect and win new customers
 
  • Organise your visit schedule
 
  • Promote the image of the Group, the company and its products
 
  • Attend trade shows
 
  • Reporting on your activity
 
  • Analyse activity indicators for your sector
 
  • Take part in sales team meetings (weekly meetings, seminars)
 
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual action plan (PAC) and its implementation
 
  • Enter and update the CRM customer database

Candidate profile

With a Bac +2/3 level qualification, you have field sales experience in customer retention and acquisition. It is important to have either an initial technical background or prior experience selling technical products.   You have the skills required to successfully carry out your duties, such as: customer focus, commitment, ability to work both in a team and independently, strong interpersonal skills, listening and analytical skills, technical argumentation, results-driven mindset, empathy, positivity, and close customer relationships.   Proficiency in an industrial design software package would be an advantage (AutoCAD, TopSolid, SolidWorks).   As interactions between departments are important, you have a strong team spirit and place both internal and external customers at the heart of your actions.
