Your responsibilities

Sustain and grow the market share of the customized and specific products under your responsibility within the designated geographic area by offering high-performance, competitive, validated, and tailored commercial proposals to meet customer demands, in order to achieve volume, margin, and market share targets. Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives within and between sites. Establish and monitor the commercial action plan for your activity.   More specifically, your responsibilities include:  
  • Field sales
 
  • Analyze customer needs based on specifications and/or your professional experience, or draft specifications based on customer requirements.
 
  • Advise and propose technical solutions.
 
  • Prepare cost estimates for proposals, with or without collaboration from the Design Office teams.
 
  • Draft customer proposals (technically and financially validated).
 
  • Respond to customer tenders (technical and administrative files).
 
  • Negotiate and finalize the best customer proposal (solution, price, lead time) to secure the order.
 
  • Ensure project follow-up and keep the customer informed.
 
  • Oversee vehicle acceptance and handle the delivery and handover of the vehicle to the customer.
 
  • Developing commercial activity within your geographic sector
 
  • Prospect and acquire new customers.
 
  • Organize your visit schedule.
 
  • Promote the image of the Group, the company, and its products.
 
  • Participate in trade fairs.
 
  • Activity reporting
 
  • Analyze activity indicators for your sector.
 
  • Participate in sales team meetings (weekly meetings, seminars).
 
  • Participate in the preparation and implementation of the annual commercial action plan (CAP).
 
  • Fill in and update the CRM customer database.

Candidate profile

With a 2-3 year post-secondary degree, you have field sales experience in retaining and acquiring Key Accounts and SMEs. It is important to have either a technical background or prior experience selling technical products.   Ideally, you have sold equipment to players in the construction and public works sector.   You possess the skills necessary for the successful completion of your missions, such as: customer focus, commitment, ability to work both in a team and independently, strong interpersonal skills, listening and analytical skills, technical reasoning, a results-oriented mindset, empathy, a positive attitude, and customer proximity.   Since interactions between departments are significant, you have a strong team spirit and place both internal and external customers at the heart of your actions.
