For over 60 years, Picot has pushed technical boundaries to provide firefighters with unparalleled allies to support them in their missions. Three custom conversions will illustrate this expertise at the Firefighters’ Congress in Le Mans (October 8-10).

Picot designs and manufactures custom emergency vehicles in France, engineered to optimize the efficiency and safety of emergency services. As an expert in customization, the brand innovates by offering functional and durable layouts capable of withstanding the most demanding operating conditions. Its integrated design office provides unprecedented development possibilities, constantly pushing technical limits to meet tomorrow’s challenges today. Emergency professionals can find this trusted partner at the 131st Firefighters’ Congress and discuss the new products gathered for the occasion with the experts present.
Picot will exhibit three vehicles emblematic of its expertise:
● A 100% electric Renault Master L2H2 (at the Renault stand): autonomy, driving and riding comfort
● A VSAV based on a Renault Master L3H2, loaned by SDIS 37
● A VSAV based on a Peugeot Boxer L2H2, exclusive to Picot, marking the return of Stellantis to this field. This model combines a particularly attractive price/performance ratio, a generous cabin volume for crews and patients, all in a compact format. A “return to roots” for the brand, which historically produced its first ambulance based on a J9.
For Picot, a VSAV is not just a tool, but a field ally. Daily committed to saving lives, firefighters constantly push their limits. With the same determination, Picot places its technical expertise, sense of innovation, and responsive customer service at the disposal of those who provide assistance and save lives, to make every converted vehicle a full member of the intervention team.
“Being present at this essential event for firefighters is an opportunity to showcase our ability to create custom solutions. Each VSAV results from a specific design based on an individualized and collaborative relationship with emergency services. Derived from field uses, these customization possibilities and the care taken in manufacturing destine Picot vehicles for SDIS with very specific needs.”
