Lanéry presents its new specialized fire vehicles

Press Release - Exhibitions

A long-standing and leading partner for firefighters’ specific needs, Lanéry by Gruau unveils its latest innovations at the 131st National Firefighters’ Congress (October 8-10). Five vehicles representative of its wide range will be exhibited, from liaison vehicles to command posts, and from light vehicles to heavy goods vehicles.

A brand of the Gruau group, the European leader in utility vehicle bodywork, Lanéry draws on over a century of experience to design solutions adapted to the specific needs of firefighters. This relationship of trust, based on personalized interactions, allows the Lyon-based brand’s teams to have a deep understanding of professionals’ practices today. Thanks to its multi-specialist expertise and integrated design office, Lanéry masters the entire production process – from specification design to the final vehicle – to offer tailor-made solutions. The teams will be delighted to welcome their clients and partners at this Congress to showcase these new products.

● The first Ineos Grenadier delivered to SDIS 02, an all-terrain vehicle capable of operating in difficult-to-access terrain, equipped as an off-road liaison vehicle (VLHR);

● A Man TGE converted into a marking vehicle, to be discovered at the Intersignalétique stand.

True to the values of the Gruau group, Lanéry is committed to an ambitious RSS2E (Social, Societal, Economic, and Environmental Responsibility) approach. It is notably through the publication of its first RSS2E report in 2024, and its carbon footprint a few months ago, that Lanéry demonstrates its commitment to its clients and partners. It is therefore in continuity with this approach that Lanéry has been presenting electric intervention vehicles at each congress since 2022.

But above all, people are at the heart of this historic brand’s DNA. Today, more than 50 passionate employees make up the Lanéry team, from workshops to support functions. And it is notably through training and partnerships with local institutions such as the Compagnons du Devoir or vocational high schools that Lanéry perpetuates and transmits its rare industrial know-how.

Xavier Machoire, Director at Lanéry

“The richness of Lanéry lies in the expertise of the men and women who work there. It is the desire to innovate and the shared passion that drives the teams daily and enables the development of meaningful emergency intervention vehicles. The presence of volunteer firefighters among the employees is the best proof of the total commitment that thrives at Lanéry.”
