Gruau expands its Taverny site and strengthens its services

Press Release

GRUAU Paris, established in Taverny for nearly 40 years, serves as both a flagship site for the Laval-based group and a local hub for professionals in the Paris region. It is now undertaking a new project, offering more than ever a concentrated showcase of all the expertise provided by the multi-specialist in bodywork.

For nearly four decades, GRUAU Paris has been meeting the mobility needs of professionals in the Île-de-France region. Now part of a new development dynamic, it is currently undergoing significant investments from the Group. With increased surface area and renovated premises, it now presents all the professional transformations available in the catalog of the European leader in bodywork. Page 1/4 In addition to its historical activities, particularly kit assembly and local services, GRUAU Paris is adding a specialized two-wheeler division and a showroom dedicated to the ambulance sector to its expertise, while also strengthening its service offerings. As a showcase for GRUAU’s multiple areas of expertise, the site will host an Open Day on Friday, June 20, dedicated to all professionals and local stakeholders.

Multiple areas of expertise in professional transformations

The Taverny site brings together over 30 experts specialized in their field of activity, transforming 2,500 vehicles every year. In addition to utility vehicle conversions (1,800 per year), the teams have developed specific expertise in two-wheelers. This includes 700 motorcycles and scooters passing through the workshops, not to mention leisure versions (quads, SSVs, Buggies, etc.) and bicycles. This activity still presents many development opportunities in the near future.

Distribution of the entire GRUAU range in the Paris region

GRUAU Paris strengthens the Group’s proximity to its customers. The Taverny location thus covers nearly 20% of the market for utility vehicle conversions. Already known and recognized for the diversity of its mobility solutions adapted to all uses and needs (tipper bodies and flatbeds, large volume vans, refrigerated transport, crew cabs, specific vehicles, etc.), the site now hosts an Ambulance division and its exhibition center. Professionals will thus be able to configure their conversions and will also find numerous references of sanitary equipment to outfit their vehicles.

Dlocal services to simplify professionals’ lives

Supporting professionals to simplify their daily lives is one of GRUAU’s commitments. To achieve this, the Group offers a range of services adapted to all sectors of activity, even the most specific. For example, Taverny is equipped with a Cemafroid test center, essential for refrigerated vehicles. Specialized teams also provide vehicle maintenance and breakdown assistance, either on-site or, on a mobile basis, wherever the client needs it in the Paris region.

GRUAU Paris is a local site reflecting the Group’s image: a multi-specialist. Its new dimension, both in terms of infrastructure and team, will enable it to further improve its coverage of the Île-de-France region and the quality of its responses to professionals. To discover this site, join us on June 20 from 11 AM to 4 PM for a special Open Day.

Patrick Gruau, President of the eponymous group

Since 1987, when Enac-Sapa was acquired, GRUAU Paris has always been the pilot fish of the group and has largely contributed to the creation of “kit products,” particularly for company cars and crew cabs, as well as for the Logistock service and safety protections. We are delighted to see this site expand and enrich itself with new products and services.
